INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We use UwBoeking.com, which processes your personal data for us because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.
We collect and process the following personal information about you:

  • Email address
  • Mobile number

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us via avg@uwboeking.com and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

UwBoeking.com processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To handle your payment
  • In order to execute the reservation
  • UwBoeking.com also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as the tax authorities’ retention obligation.

Automated decision-making

UwBoeking.com does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that may have (significant) consequences for individuals.

RETENTION OF YOUR DATA

We retain your personal data with us for 90 days to 2 years after the user has terminated the account, or as long as we need it to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, as described in this privacy policy. We may need to keep certain information for longer periods for record-keeping/reporting in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons, such as enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Remaining anonymous information and aggregated information, neither of which identifies you (directly or indirectly), may be retained indefinitely.

UwBoeking.com does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

Sharing personal data with third parties

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by UwBoeking.com and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to avg@uwboeking.com.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. UwBoeking.com only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. We can also use this to optimize our website. You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. Booking and Payment Terms

 

CANCEL

Cancellation of your booking is possible under the following conditions:

  • If we have not received the deposit within 7 days after your booking, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
  • Cancellation costs up to 30 days before the arrival date are 50% of the stay costs.
    Cancellation costs within 30 days before the arrival date are 100% of the stay costs.

PAY

  • When booking, you pay a 50% deposit for your room. If we do not receive this deposit within 7 days, the booking will automatically be cancelled.
  • Payment can be made in cash, via Bancontact, or by bank transfer.
  • The balance must be paid 30 days before your arrival date. An email will be sent for this.
  • If you book within 30 days of your arrival date, you must pay the full amount in advance.
  • Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances.
  • To avoid unpleasant surprises, we recommend taking out cancellation insurance.
  • Tourist tax is not included in the room price and will be settled upon departure.
  • Consumptions and meals are also not included in the room price. They are tracked daily and settled upon departure.

By making a reservation, you agree to our house rules and terms. We advise you to review them before making a reservation.

MODIFY

If you wish to make changes regarding stay dates, number of people, or arrival times, please contact us and we will try to accommodate you based on our availability.

House Rules

We warmly welcome you to our home. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we want to let you know how things work here.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

  • To welcome you properly, we ask that you check in between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. We’ll welcome you with a drink and take time to chat.
  • You can arrive on any day of the week.
  • There is a minimum stay of 3 nights for the studio rooms.
  • Please notify us if you plan to arrive after 7:00 PM.
  • On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 10:00 AM so we can prepare for the next guests.

HOUSE LINENS

Upon arrival, the beds will be made. A package of kitchen (for studio rooms) and bath linens will be ready for you, as well as a pool towel.

Depending on the length of your stay, bedding will be changed.
Kitchen linens and bath towels are changed regularly, but not daily.
Pool towels are changed weekly.

Our towels are only for use on our property, not to be taken elsewhere.

FOOD AND DRINKS

Breakfast buffet is available between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM.
In the evening, we sit down for dinner at 7:30 PM.

PARKING

You can park your car in our private parking area. This is locked by us in the evening.
We are not responsible for any accidents in our parking area.

NIGHT REST

From 11:00 PM, we ask you to keep quiet until 7:30 AM.

SWIMMING POOL

  • The hygiene of our pool is very important. Only swimwear is allowed in our pool, so no shoes, large swim shorts, T-shirts, etc. A swim brief or normal short swim shorts are allowed.
  • We are not responsible for any accidents in and around our pool.
  • Diving is prohibited.
  • Clothing not intended for swimming such as T-shirts, underwear, long swim shorts, swim shoes… are not allowed.
  • Children under 12 years old are not allowed at our pool without supervision.
  • If you open a parasol, please close it when you leave. This is to prevent damage from sudden wind.
  • It is forbidden to bring food or drinks into the pool.

PROPERTY/ROOMS

Mas Bouzige is an old building with steps and different levels, both inside and outside. Please be careful, as it’s easy to twist an ankle.
Lock your room.
Please inform us immediately if something is broken, so we can try to replace or repair it as quickly as possible.
We are not responsible for accidents, theft, or loss of personal belongings.
Any damage caused by guests to equipment, objects, furniture, etc. may be additionally charged.

GOING OUT

All activities you undertake in and from Mas Bouzige are at your own risk. Mas Bouzige disclaims all liability.

SMOKING

Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the buildings.
There are ashtrays in the courtyard, please use these and don’t throw cigarette butts on the ground.

VISITORS

It is not allowed to receive visitors on our property.

PETS

We love pets, but for the comfort of our dog, other pets are unfortunately not allowed. If you bring them anyway, we reserve the right to refuse your stay. In this case, your deposit will not be refunded.

QUESTIONS? COMMENTS?

Our intention is to create an atmosphere that is pleasant for both you and us. Vacation should be fun, so leave all your worries and stress at home and come enjoy. We are open to your wishes and try to take them into account as much as possible. It would help us if you share your opinion with us immediately so we can address it together. Comments afterward via email or social media don’t help us move forward.
